Black Women Supported
Black Women Supported is a community space created by the Black Women’s Policy Center to ensure Black women are seen, heard, and held — especially during challenging times. This group centers care, connection, and restoration while acknowledging the real pressures Black women navigate as leaders, caregivers, advocates, and community anchors.
Through facilitated conversations, shared resources, wellness-centered programming, and sister-to-sister support, Black Women Supported creates space for Black women to exhale, reflect, and be supported without judgment or expectation. This is not a space to “perform strength,” but a place to receive it.
Black Women Supported recognizes that sustainable leadership and civic engagement begin with well-being. By prioritizing mental, emotional, and communal health, this group strengthens Black women individually and collectively — because supported women build stronger families, communities, and movements.
