The Black Women’s Policy Center is expanding its impact—and we are inviting mission-driven professionals, students, and advocates to join the BWPC Volunteer Network. This growing network of volunteers supports BWPC’s work advancing policies that improve the health, economic security, and overall well-being of Black women and families.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Community Engagement Coordinator

Assist with community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and coordination of listening sessions that ensure community voices inform policy priorities. Estimated commitment: 8-10 hours per week.

Volunteer Administrative Assistant

Support organizational operations including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and assisting with virtual meeting preparation. Estimated commitment: 8-10 hours per week.

Volunteer Marketing & Communications Manager

Help amplify BWPC’s voice through social media, newsletters, and strategic communications.

 

Estimated commitment:

8-10 hours per week.

Who Should Apply?

We welcome volunteers with experience or interest in public policy, public health, nonprofit management, communications, community engagement, administration, and social justice advocacy.

 

 

Location

Most roles are remote with occasional virtual meetings or events.
