About the Event
BLACK GIRLS BUILDING POWER: Summer Power Institute is a free 6-week leadership experience for Black girls ages 13–18 designed to build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and prepare participants for future success.
Camp runs on Wednesdays Only. June 24 – July 29, 2026. Through interactive workshops, mentorship, civic engagement, public speaking, and community leadership opportunities, participants will gain valuable skills, connections, and real-world experience.
Participants who successfully complete the program will receive:
$100 completion incentive
Certificate of completion
Leadership portfolio
