Black Women Supported 2023 - Summer Cohort - In Person

Black Women Supported ™ (BWS) is a 6-session, 1.5-hour group designed to provide a space for Black women 18+ to process their life experiences with other Black women in a safe and supportive space. BWS is a space to share personal challenges, such as mental health, self-identity, relationship challenges, generational trauma, and self-care. The group will explore how to functionally build and use coping skills while challenging behavioral and relationship patterns that may hinder one’s ability to heal and grow. This is a therapeutic space for Black women that will cultivate the freedom to express, pursue personal development and heal emotionally. Additionally, BWS aims to support and motivate participants to influence positive self-perception, self-compassion and to gain control of their circumstances and achieve their own goals.
